Moving UP in the world

They got back fairly late in Riverview but knew that they wanted to eat and get cleaned up before taking a short nap to rest up form the vacation.

Bob was able to meet Dell's crush and laughed when he found the guy she liked was much older than her. He was a teenager ALMOST young adult she was a child ALMOST a teenager. 

Bob had a great idea and wanted to tell Betty "How about we travel till we are adult and THEN start a family?" Bob was quite excited about this.

"Bob I think thats a great idea but thats a long time to wait to move out and start a family," Betty was ok with traveling but knew she wanted to have children.

Do you have a better idea Betty?

Well my CRAZY idea is once Dell grows up then we will move out. We can build our house and then when we are done building we can start our family!

But can't we go on ONE more vacation before we have kids?

You have a good point there Bob We would deserve a vacation after all that work.

They sealed the agreement with a kiss and then headed off to bed.

Well kinda! They decided to have a bit of fun first and fell asleep to silence.

Betty checked the paper to find out the latest news:

Dallas and Bridgett had a private ceremony and are now married.

Shirley Lin was the new doctor in town.

Cadence Shelley decided to adopt a baby boy form Africa after doing a piece on the orphans there for the paper.

Laurel and Yassir Ra welcomed a 6lb 2oz baby boy Tobias Ra!

This town really changed over night huh Robert? Yes Betty it truly did.

Bob was off to work and it would be so nice to get back into a routine! He was already working on the plans for the new house!

Betty spent most of her day at the gym! She would earn cash for improving her athletic skill so she made sure to get it up to a 3!

She enjoyed her shower and then headed over to a friends house to offer congratulations!

Bob met Betty at Bridgett, Dallas, MaryKay, and Trigger! Turns out that Trigger and MaryKay were also married while Bob and Betty were gone!

Dell went to bed early that night because she knew that tomorrow was her birthday! She was getting strait A's and was a top student in her class.

Betty was feeling quite tired so she went to bed early as well but Bob didn't feel so well so he was up all night. He was hungry so he ate some soup and that seemed to help settle his stomach.

When Dell got up that day she knew that it was her birthday! It was still dark out but she couldn't resist from growing up.

She was quite happy to finally be able to move on to more AWESOME and AMAZING things like BOY!!!

Robert had a hard time with his little girl growing up.

Later on in the morning Betty had a doctor's appointment since the couple knew that they wanted to have kids soon they wanted Betty to have a physical before they started to try.

Betty was SHOCKED to find out that she was already expecting and was due in 3 days! She was puzzled because she never tried for a baby and she never heard the lullaby. She also found out that Cadence Shelley was going to have a baby as well.

and Betty must have a way with pregnant women because Cadence went into labor and ....

 Sheena Cole Shelley 5lb 12oz and healthy! Betty was in the delivery room and stopped to talk to Bob before leaving the hospital. She wanted to wait to tell Bob till he was off work.

Betty headed to their swimming pool but wanted to quickly feel her sweet tummy before jumping in. "I love you little one!" she whispered.

When Bob got home Betty gave him a big kiss and told him lets take a swim! Bob agreed and they both headed out to the pool.

They danced together and then Betty lid into what she wanted to tell him. 

I know that we wanted to wait to have kids BUT...

WE ALREADY ARE!!! Bob was so happy and couldn't wait to be a daddy. He handled it much better than Betty had imagined!

After telling just about EVERYONE they knew that they were pregnant it was no surprise that Betty was dreaming about the baby all night long. She had a dream they had a little girl and named her Violet. 

When working out the next morning Betty felt that she was HUGE! Isn't it a little early to be showing this much? She didn't think much of it because she knew that she was taking care of herself.

While taking a bath Betty kept thinking about her dream. Was it telling her that she was having a girl? Betty and Bob both wanted to have a girl so they were excited to think the dream might be right!

Being in the medical field Bob was always there to tell Betty that she looked perfect and that the baby just might come sooner than later! Hi there little Violet or Blaine! They couldn't wait to find out :)

Only being pregnant for 2 days Betty was sure that the baby would come tomorrow afternoon.

Betty's belly at 2 days pregnant! She is SO CUTE in her swim suit while pregnant.

She wanted to find a star but after trying for 2 hours she realized that tonight it wouldn't be found so off to bed she went.

But before she could get to comfortable Betty went into labor. Since Dell slept in the room with them she woke up quickly. Bob freaked out he had seen babies delivered at the hospital but never was it his wife and his child.

Betty tried to get handle the pain well but couldn't help but feel like her head was going to explode. 

She changed quickly but still decided a home birth was what she wanted! Bob was more than happy to help bring their son or daughter into the world!

At that moment Betty felt a pop she knew something was going to happen SOON.

"Come on sweetie just one more push YOU CAN DO IT!" Bob coached Betty threw her last contraction when she felt a tingling feeling.

Blaine Robert Newbie was born after 3 hours of labor and was given the genius and musical trait! He was 7lb 12oz 20inch long! He was a breath of fresh air and Betty and Bob's dream come true. They were hoping for a girl but got something even better A SON!!! 

Bob was one proud father and couldn't believe that he had a son. Having a boy first was so special and they did know they wanted to try again (at some point) for a little girl!

This is a picture with 3 generations of Newbie Men! It was all timing too and who knows if this will EVER happen again!

Mags AKA Grandma got in on some baby lovin too. She couldn't wait to start reading to him :)

Betty wanted to throw a party for Blaine so she got things ready and in the back ground is MaryKay Broke expecting HER first little one!

MORE guests showed up and Laurel was hardly showing her baby bump with baby #3!!! 

Even though he was a young adult now Madellia was still crushing! She couldn't stop talking to him all she wanted was to be friends AT LEAST FOR NOW!

The party was a big hit and there was a total of 4 pregnant woman at the party! But some of them left early but still we had a great time.

Bob knew that since Madellia was a teenager and that they had sweet little Blaine it was time to move one. Bob looked back at his house that he's lived in his whole life!

The three of them enjoyed the Taxi ride to their new place! 

The NEW Newbie family! Betty, Bob, and Blaine all excited to start a new journey together as a family!

and there was so much that needed to be done on VERY low funds.
